How to Join Monmouth Fish & Game

Interested in becoming a member of Monmouth Fish & Game Association? New applicants, as well as former members whose memberships have lapsed, must complete the membership process outlined below.

1. Find a Sponsor

All applicants must be sponsored by a current Monmouth Fish & Game member in good standing. Your sponsor must attend the Monthly Business Meeting with you when you are presented for membership.

If you already know a member, simply ask them to serve as your sponsor.

If you do not know a current member, please contact us before attending a meeting. We will be happy to arrange an opportunity for you to meet with a member, learn more about the club, and discuss sponsorship.

2. Complete a Membership Application

Download and complete the Monmouth Fish & Game Membership Application. Please fill out the application completely before submitting it.

You may bring your completed application to the meeting or submit it in advance by email or mail as directed on the application.

3. Review the Range Rules

All members are expected to understand and follow the Monmouth Fish & Game Range Rules. Please review the rules before attending your Range Orientation & Practical.

4. Attend a Monthly Business Meeting

Applicants must attend a Monthly Business Meeting with their sponsor to be presented for membership.

Monthly Business Meetings are held on the second Tuesday of each month at 7:00 PM at the Monmouth Fish & Game clubhouse.

The club’s Annual Meeting is held on the first Saturday in April at 7:00 PM and takes the place of the regular April Monthly Business Meeting.

5. Submit Your Application & Membership Fees

The cost for a new membership is $150, which includes:

• $75 Annual Membership Dues

• $75 One-Time Application Fee

Please bring your completed application and payment to the meeting unless you have submitted them in advance.

6. Complete Range Orientation & Practical

Before using the ranges, all new members must successfully complete the club’s mandatory Range Orientation & Practical.

Orientation is normally held at 9:00 AM on the Saturday immediately following the Monthly Business Meeting at the Monmouth Fish & Game clubhouse.

The orientation covers range rules, safety procedures, proper range use, and the responsibilities expected of every member.
