D Day Commemorative Shoot

Monmouth Fish & Game will be hosting our annual D-Day Commemorative Shoot this Saturday, June 6.

The event will begin at 10:00 AM.

This shoot honors the Allied invasion of Normandy on June 6, 1944, and is designed around vintage military firearms and marksmanship traditions.

Course of Fire

Rifle Match

• 100-yard course
• Open-sighted rifles only
• WWII-era rifles preferred
• 46 rounds for record
• Sighter rounds permitted

Pistol Match

• 20-yard course
• Open, fixed-sight pistols only
• 1911-style pistols preferred
• 40 rounds for record
• Sighter rounds permitted if needed

Participants are encouraged to bring period-correct firearms whenever possible, though suitable open-sighted firearms that meet the course requirements are welcome.

Please arrive a few minutes early to register, receive the safety briefing, and prepare your equipment before shooting begins.
